Physiotherapy is a healthcare discipline focused on enhancing and restoring movement and physical function. It aims to improve the quality of life through physical interventions, diagnosis, and patient education. Our approach is holistic, addressing the physical, emotional, and social aspects of health.

Our licensed physiotherapists specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Using evidence-based techniques, they develop personalized treatment plans tailored to your specific needs and goals. Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or looking to improve your physical performance, our team is here to support your journey to optimal health.

Common physiotherapy treatments include manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and education on lifestyle changes to prevent future injuries. We emphasize active participation, empowering you to take charge of your health and recovery.

Kanika Gandhi was born and raised in India. She landed as a new immigrant to Victoria, BC in 2013. She started her journey as a Physical Therapist in Canada in 2014. She completed all her education back home- Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2010 and completed postgraduate Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2012.

As a new immigrant, she tried and tested a few cities before settling in Surrey, BC. She spent a few months in Victoria and a few initial years in Edmonton, working as a PT. Her areas of practice include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, concussion management, vestibular therapy and dry needling.

She enjoys working with people from all walks of life, who are committed to achieve their fitness goals. In the past, she has worked with all kinds of injuries- be it work related, car accident injuries, repetitive injuries/syndromes or sports injuries. Her way of treatment involves a thorough assessment, detailed evaluation and educating the client about the root-cause of symptoms and management principles. She is open to questions and is always happy to explain what’s going on and why. During your treatment sessions with her, you can expect to be engaging yourself into a variety of interesting exercise routines- as physical activity is the medicine a physical therapist can offer!

She is a mother of 2 young kids and loves to spend time with them, outside of work. If you don’t see her in the clinic, you will surely see her in neighborhood parks playing hide-and-seek with her kids.

Maria has been working as Massage Therapist in the U.S since 1999. She later moved back to her home town Vancouver, B.C. and attended West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She has been an RMT in Canada since 2014.

Her years of experience in massage therapy has taught her that no two bodies are alike. Each session is customized to fit the particular needs of the patient and their soft tissue structure. In addition, after having the privilege of working with several soft tissue injuries, she has come to a greater understanding of the mind/body connection.

Her treatment goals are to give you a great therapeutic session, then send you home with information and a plan so that you continue to feel fantastic and have greater ease and freedom of movement in your everyday life.

Monique graduated from WCCMT in 2020 and has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist with a focus on creating a safe, supportive space for all patients. Her approach is slow and attentive—she takes time to feel the tissue and respond to how the body is presenting in the moment, adjusting pressure as needed and working with the body’s natural resistance to encourage release. She works with a wide range of conditions, including pregnancy, neurological disorders, general muscle tension, stress, and reduced range of motion. She is also trained in hot stone massage, using heat as an added tool to support relaxation and therapeutic care.

Patients often describe her as kind, approachable, and a good listener. She values open communication and works collaboratively to create treatments that align with each patient’s comfort and goals.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, watching Netflix, and making food that looks just as good as it tastes. She stays active through yoga, spin, weightlifting, hiking, and camping—anything that keeps her moving and connected to nature.
